A Simple Case Study
With an 8’-tall galvanized perimeter fence averaging $30 per linear foot, a typical 10,000-foot installation runs about $300,000, providing perimeter security for facilities that are valued in the millions, if not billions—and yet, the integrity of that system often hinges on one overlooked detail: the position, stability and protection of the fence post.
The Hidden Threat: Poorly Set Posts Cost More Than Money
Without The Fence Foot, even the most professional installation crews may leave the base of the post in wet soil, not properly set in the concrete footing. The result? Within five years, potentially 10% of fence posts can fail due to corrosion and shifting foundations, compromising the perimeter security the fence provides.
That’s potentially 100 compromised posts on your site, causing:
- Unexpected maintenance costs
- Security vulnerabilities
- Potential operational disruption
- Sagging fence lines
- Potential legal exposure if a fence fails and someone is injured

The Fence Foot: Quality Assurance at a Fraction of the Cost
Adding The Fence Foot to that same project fencing spec would add just $6,000 total or just 2% of the overall fencing costs—yet it provides a significant return in protection, longevity, and peace of mind at a negligible cost when total facility cost is considered.
For example, if the protected facility is worth $50 million, then the cost to include the use of The Fence Foot in the project is a mere 0.012% of the total project cost.
This small addition ensures:
- Precision post positioning in every footing—no guesswork
- Encapsulation that eliminates direct soil contact—minimizing corrosion
- Structural consistency across the entire fence line
- Reduced exposure to lawsuits and insurance claims
- Fewer vendor callbacks and rework disruptions
Compare That to Fixing Those 100 Failed Posts at About $250 Each
- $25,000+ in materials
- $5,000+ in service fees (maintenance staff lost time / engineering time, etc.)
- Unplanned site access for contractors
- Interruption to daily operations or secured zones
One Less Risk. One More Safeguard for Your Facility.
You’ve already invested in high-grade materials, security systems, and smart facility planning. The Fence Foot simply ensures your perimeter holds up over time, so your team can stay focused on mission-critical operations—not avoidable maintenance.
Guard More Than the Fence. Protect the Business Behind It.
The Fence Foot is not just about fences—it’s about operational assurance. A simple, low-cost upgrade that shields your investment, your people, and your peace of mind.

GOOD WORK STARTS WITH A SOLID FOUNDATION. AND THAT FOUNDATION IS THE FENCE FOOT.
Standard fence installation details require three inches of concrete around each fence post, providing stability, resilience, and longevity.
Common installation practices often leave fence posts in contact with the subgrade, compromising the integrity of the fence and exposing the posts to water and rust.
Fence posts are often installed in a concrete-filled augered hole and then pushed into the soil below... rusting the bottom of the post... and ultimately the entire post!
This is why we invented The Fence Foot to keep fence posts off the bottom and keep them completely encased in concrete.
The Fence Foot guarantees consistent concrete encasement and alignment—eliminating variability and ensuring compliance with ASTM F567-23 installation standards.
YOUR POSTS WILL BE STRONGER. YOUR FENCES WILL LAST LONGER.
The Fence Foot's patented design allows for quick installation, ensuring complete concrete encasement.
The Fence Foot is designed for nominal 3" and 2½" posts. Simply flip it over to fit the other post size. One product, two sizes of fence post!
